Vermont Business Roundtable names new board members

first_imgTim Mueller, outgoing Chairman of the Vermont BusinessRoundtable and President of Okemo Mountain Resort, announced the electionof the new slate of officers and board members for the coming year at theorganization’s 17th Annual Membership Meeting held at Stoweflake Resort &Conference Center on December 2nd.The Roundtable’s Officers for 2005 are: Chairman: Staige Davis,President, Lang Associates; Vice-Chairman: Timothy R. Hannah Shaw wins Ramsdell Scholarship

first_img Town report wins award – October 11, 2014 BAR HARBOR — Mount Desert Island High School 2014 graduate Hannah Shaw is one of two winners of $1,000 scholarships from the Jay Ramsdell Scholarship Foundation.A National Honor Society member, Shaw also served on the student council, as a YMCA and Acadia Little League Tournament volunteer and played basketball, soccer and softball at MDI.The other winner is Francesca Couture of Narraguagus High School in Harrington.Ramsdell, a Mainer who died in a Sioux City, Iowa, plane crash 25 years ago, worked for the Maine Lumberjacks, the Continental Basketball Association minor league team in Bangor, while a student at MDI High School.This is placeholder textThis is placeholder textAfter graduaton, he went to work for the league office in Philadelphia.
